ABOUT US
We are a regional non profit based in the northeast working to close the racial wealth gap and tackle climate change. We achieve this through programs, partnerships, projects, and pilots targeting workforce development, business development and community development in communities of color.
OUR PROGRAMS
ACCEL
Browning the Green Space is a coalition of leaders and organizations, primarily in the New England region, that share the passion to advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”) in clean energy.
Our goal is to increase the participation and leadership of Black and Brown people and of women (collectively, “underrepresented groups”) in the clean energy space and beyond (e.g., wasted food, water, agtech) in the Northeast.
ACCESS
ACCESS - ACCESS, first launched by BGS in 2022, is a 10-week paid contractor boot camp that provides entrepreneurs of color with curated business coaching, access to capital, and connections to customers, clients, and potential partners that can support in the launch and growth of a successful contracting business in the region’s high-demand clean energy industry.
