The BGS Coalition is a cross-sector initiative designed to connect, support and educate organization leaders as they work to advance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ) principles internally within their own organizations and collectively throughout the clean energy and climatetech sectors. Our nearly 60+ members include clean energy and climate companies, non-profits, venture capital firms, educational institutions and grassroots organizations that have made a pledged commitment to DEIJ in support of a just energy transition for Black and Brown communities.

BGS supports annual programming for members that include DEI workshops, facilitated peer-to-peer learning sessions, focus area committee participation and additional networking events. In addition, BGS provides organizational DEI assessment tools and 1:1 support to member companies to help them understand their starting point as well as provide accountability in goal setting and taking action to advance their internal initiatives. Lastly, through connection and engagement with BGS programs and initiatives around workforce development, business development and community development, member companies can readily identify near term opportunities to take action and deepen their commitment to advance their DEIJ goals.
