BGS, in partnership with Emerald Cities Collaborative, worked to recruit and match BIPOC-identifying students with clean energy internships while also providing educational and career workshops to all summer 2024 interns participating in the session. Workshops focused on clean energy careers, environmental justice, career navigation resources and career counseling sessions. The program culminated with a Rhode Island Clean Energy Networking event which brought together students and employers throughout the ecosystem.
